Onewheel Scotland Underground League

Want to explore Scotland on your Onewheel but not sure where to start? This is it.

Created by the Onewheel Scotland community, the Onewheel Scotland League is a nationwide trail challenge built around adventure, progression, and a bit of friendly competition. You can ride at your own pace, on your own schedule, all whilst collecting points to try and win prizes!

With 19 epic segments across Scotland, you’ll ride everything from flowy forest lines to technical descents — all while earning points and climbing the leaderboard.

How It Works

  • There are 19 trails in the league.

  • More trails = More points. All trails attempted count towards your final score.

  • Hit record and ride, and trails are automatically detected.

  • Your best time on each segment earns you points (Version 1 scoring).

  • You have unlimited attempts. Keep pushing for better times!

  • Riders may attempt segments at any time within the season dates.

  • You can attempt with any onewheel setup (FM, DIY, Floatwheel, Funwheel etc.) and with any aftermarket parts.

Ride Hermes is a ride-tracking app for PEVs around the globe.

Simply, download the Ride Hermes app on Android or iOS and hit record.

Trail Locations & Highlights

There are five key areas containing trails. Two of the locations are centred around the 7stanes centres, which are world-class mountain biking centres that span the south of Scotland:

1 - Glentress (7Stanes)

The heart of the league and home to 8 trails.

  • A mixture of blue and red mountain bike trails.

  • Flow trails, berms, and technical features.

  • Perfect progression from beginner-friendly to advanced.

  • Start on Blue Taster and Admiral, and work your way up to Twitcher.

2 - Forest of Ae (7Stanes)

3 fast, flowing segments just off the A74, great for quiet, scenic riding.

  • Start with 22 Bends.

  • Finish strong with Omega Man.

3 - Canada Wood (Falkirk)

A mountain bike centre with four fun and accessible segments.

  • Flowy and playful trails.

  • Start with Twisty Tweed and Harris Highway.

  • You can easily onewheel from the car park to the world's only rotating boat lift, the Falkirk wheel.

  • The Kelpies (giant horse sculptures) are also in the area and worth a stop.

  • There is a cafe at the mountain bike centre - book ahead of time and ask if you can charge, and they are often friendly and accommodating.

4 - Carron Valley

Three scenic but challenging trails if you want some great loch-side views.

  • Carron Valley is a beautiful reservoir with flat gravel trails around the loch.

  • It also has three technical MTB segments.

  • Beautiful, remote riding.

  • Close to the old medieval city of Stirling - you can go and visit the castle or Wallace Tower for some history!

5 - Glencoe Area – “3 Bridges” Segment

Your Highland finale, approximately 5-10 minutes drive away from Glencoe Mountain Resort. This is ideal for squeezing in a final run before the event or during the weekend.
